RUC regular events

• The RUC runs a huge range of different activities throughout the week for our members and guests entertainment.
• $9.90 Member’s Meals every Night of the Week. Meals include Rump Steak, Chicken Breast Schnitzel and Cajun Perch Fillets (all served with chips and salad) on Monday and Tuesday, Gourmet Pizza Wednesday and Thursday, Fish and Chips on Friday
• $2.50 Spirits! Basic spirits happy hour from 9 - 10pm 6 days a week
• Ravens BBQ! Every Friday afternoon in summer sees the mighty RUC Ravens cricket team provide a cut prize sausage sizzle for members and guests. Starts 4.30pm.

Brumbies Season

Brumbies Bus

Every Brumbies home game, there will be a bus departing from The RUC approximately 1 hr before kickoff. We strongly advise that you book tickets well in advance (or buy a season ticket) and turn up around half an hour before the departure time. The bistro will be open earlier  it's normal time to allow dinner to be eaten before you leave.

Once at the stadium the bus will drop us off within a few minutes walk of the Eastern gate. The bus departs from Canberra Stadium 20 minutes after the final whistle.

Regular Bus Tickets

Regular bus tickets cost $5 and give you a return journey to and from Canberra Stadium. allow you a $5 discount off any dinner ordered on the night of a Brumbies Home Game before you leave. Typically this cut-off time for ordering is 5.50pm.

Season Bus Tickets

Season Tickets cost $25 and allow you access to the bus for all 7 home games. They will also allow you to ride on the bus for any finals that may be Super 14 Semi-Finals or Final that may be played at Canberra Stadium. These tickets will give you a 25% discount on dinners purchased on the night before the bus leaves (one discount per customer). They are valid for Super 14 games and finals only.

On the Day - Big Screen, Stadium Sound & $8 Jugs of Coopers

For all Brumbies games are played:

• On the big screen
• With full stadium sound
• With $8 Jugs of Coopers for members

Note: $8 Jugs of Coopers will be available for members for the entirety of the game, plus some time before or after - depending on the timing of the game. See home page for details each week.

Difficulty of Play

• Registering & selecting your team for the very first time is the most complicated thing you have to do (about 15 minutes)
• Once you have selected your team, you make a limited number of transfers each week.
• Remember to transfer or bench players who are having a bye (no bye in the 1st round)
• Your captain scores double, so choose a high scoring player.
